Oi oi, just what's going on here?

Hey ladies. Aku here! Long time no see, huh? Did you miss me? Are you thinking, "Oi, it's Aku. The bearer of bad news~"!? Well, unfortunately that trend isn't going to change right now, so I won't go softening any blows! I know there have been a couple comments wondering about the status of the TCG, so I'll cut to the chase: Unfortunately right now, Arimi is going through a bit of a rough patch, and that's the reason the TCG has remained stagnant for quite awhile. I've only heard about this recently, so I'm sure she's had quite a tough time being unable to touch the site or let me know what was going on. At the moment, she isn't going to be able to continue with the TCG. What does that mean for Countdown's future? I'm not entirely sure: as much as I'd love to take it under my wing once again, I don't know if it will be possible for me to keep up with it like I used to anymore. Before making any rash decisions though: I'm curious to know how many of you are still active in the TCG, and would continue to actively participate were the TCG to continue being run? Naturally, we will have to find a new owner again, and perhaps I can help make decks and graphics for the site, but first I think it's important to know whether or not it's worth it for me to teach the ropes to a newbie all over again. :) So, please leave your comments, thoughts, critique and marriage proposals in the respective area, and we will certainly come to a decision! And please, keep Arimi in your thoughts as well so that she can get through the turbulent time of her life: though she may not hear or see your comments right away, I know everyone's fighting spirit will reach her and help her through this tough time! All the sad news aside: it's a bit nostalgic to make an update here. You don't know how much I miss you guys! Countdown is always in my thoughts, and I still have the shortcut in my bookmarks bar: I probably still check it as much as some of you do. XD How have you all been doing? Lotsa Love, Aku |
